A Level Assessment

PAPER 1: Introductory Topics in Psychology. 2 hour exam

Four compulsory sections: Social Influence, Memory, Attachment and Psychopathology

PAPER 2: Psychology in Context. 2 hour exam

Three compulsory sections: Approaches in psychology , Biopsychology and Research Methods

PAPER 3: Issues and Options in Psychology. 2 hour exam

One compulsory section on issues and then 3 options sections- Relationships, Schizophrenia and Forensic Psychology

Requirements

College Entry Requirements and a grades 6 in GCSE Maths and Science (Biology) and grade 5 in English.

Where can it lead?

Psychology provides a useful training for a much wider range of career options. These include market research, social work, teaching, nursing, advertising, sales, media and broadcasting, personnel management and even the police and the Armed Forces.
